Siamese cats looking for homes

If you are interested in giving a home to an adult Siamese cat,(we don't have kittens but there are sometimes kittens for sale on the list at list.htm) please contact the numbers given on this page against the cats looking for a home or find the person who covers your area here..
**Before making contact please read the following notes **
E mail enquiries re.adoption are just to establish first contact and no cat in our care is homed purely on this basis, and further investigation will be required.

The listings on this page are divided into 3 categories-
1)SCCWT cats, for the cats we have in care where the contacts will always be our Welfare Officers.
2)Owners who want to use this page to assist with the rehoming of their cats who are still with them, either taking enquiries themselves or using us as the first contact when extra help is required
3)Other welfare groups or clubs
who use this page to advertise their cats looking for homes. They may also have their own websites and other cats for homing. They have no connection with SCCWT

There is no charge to list cats in any of these categories
Please contact Brigid or Niki by phone or e mail to list on this page(see below or Contact Us page for numbers)

The SCCWT is not responsible and cannot vouch for either the condition or description of any cat unless it is in the personal care of our Welfare Officers. We can only pass on details as they are given to us and it is up to the prospective owner to ensure everything is as it should be.In most cases we have not met the cats or owners listed here, except for those in our care.
The SCCWT does not accept cats for sale at any time.A donation is requested  if we rehome a cat in our care,to cover any costs incurred and it is advisable to check with other advertisers and welfare groups regarding their policies.Direct homings from owners can expect to make a Charitable donation
The SCCWT reserves the right to turn down, without explanation, any application to rehome a cat in our care although an explanation is usually provided if we have to turn you down.

** These very gentle girls are looking for their forever home together. They are mother, Sassy, and daughter, Minnie.Sassy is 19 months old and Minnie is 7 months old. They are cross Siamese. They are identical except for their eye colour and Sassy has a little black dot on her nose.Sassy had a bad start to her young life she fell pregnant and was dumped outside a shop in a box with three kitten, unfortunately we lost two of the kittens and only Minnie survived hence the strong bond they have. They are a little bit shy on first meeting but they don’t take long to want to be your friend. They love lots of cuddles/strokes and they love a good play, especially Minnie! She loves to jump and to play with the rod toys and sometimes gets over excited, while mum watches from the side lines and then decides ‘this looks fun’ and joins in!!We feel their forever home would be in a quieter home with an older family/mature family/single person environment where someone is around for some of the time in the day as they do like people company. They are indoor cats. They are both neutered and are up to date with their vaccinations and flea and worm treatment. If you are interested in meeting these two lovelies please contact or go on the website for Cats Protection Hemel Hempstead    10/04/18

And finally

Here are some of our happy cats in their new homes....
Most of the cats we rehome come from loving owners who don't want to part with their cats.Others, like those left outside a veterinary surgery and in a sanctuary car park, are not so lucky.

Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked in my warm new bed.
I'd like to open my baggage lest I forget
There is so much to carry - So much to

Hmm . . . Yes there it is, right on the top.
Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and
And there by my leash hides Fear and

As I look on these things I tried so hard to
leave – I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.
I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't
want me.

Will you add to my baggage?
Will you help me unpack?
Or will you just look at my things
And take me right back?
Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage, to never repack?
I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage
Will YOU still want ME?
